Keynote speaker Mike Eruzione was a hockey player who was a member of the underdog United States Ice Hockey who defeated the formidable Soviet Union team in the 1980 Olympic Games; Since this being one of the greatest moments in modern sports history, a film was made about this remarkable story. “Miracle”, from Walt Disney pictures, captures a time and place where differences could be settled by games and a cold war could be put on ice. Yossi Ghinsberg
Keynote speaker Yossi Ghinsberg, born and raised in Israel, served 3 years in the Israeli Navy on the Red Sea. During this time, Yossi was greatly influenced by the philosophy and nomadic lifestyle of the Bedouin of the Sinai desert. After the service Yossi ventured the world as a backpacker traveling in South America. Returning to Israel, Yossi graduated from Tel Aviv University with Philosophy and Business degrees.

Vince Papale
In 1976, at the age of 30, keynote speaker Vince Papale tried out and made it to the Philadelphia Eagles; Vince became the oldest rookie in the history of the NFL. Vince was a wide receiver for four years, and was Special Teams Captain by his teammates. Vince was voted “Man of the Year” by the Eagles in 1978 for his many charitable activities.
